A private members’ club in Birmingham comprised a reception lounge, main bar, dining room and a separate event suite, each with a distinct atmosphere and pattern of use. The client required a discreet audio solution that would complement the refined interior design whilst maintaining a consistent musical character across all connected spaces. Different ceiling heights, surface materials and occupancy levels made a single central volume setting unsuitable, so the venue was divided into individually controlled zones with independent source and level selection. The sound was tuned to remain warm, detailed and unobtrusive during daytime service, whilst retaining sufficient headroom for evening gatherings, private dinners and member events. Equipment locations were coordinated closely with lighting, joinery and architectural finishes to minimise visual impact. The completed system now creates a seamless musical atmosphere throughout the club and allows staff to adapt each area quickly without compromising comfort or interior aesthetics.
