Flexible Conference Centre in Leeds

A modern conference centre in Leeds required a dependable audio solution for keynote presentations, panel discussions, training sessions and hybrid meetings. The venue included a divisible main hall and several adjoining rooms, with seating layouts, microphone positions and presentation requirements changing between bookings. Reflective ceilings, long listening distances and the use of multiple wireless microphones increased the risk of delayed reflections and feedback, whilst remote participants required clear speech with minimal room ambience. The system was therefore divided into independently managed zones and supported by delay alignment, automatic microphone mixing and dedicated presets for theatre-style seating, classroom layouts, panel sessions and hybrid conferencing. After commissioning, the centre achieved consistent speech intelligibility in every room configuration, improved microphone stability and clearer audio for remote participants, enabling technical staff to move between events efficiently without extensive reconfiguration.
